Narinder Singh is member of the International Law Commission, and member of the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) of the Asian African Legal Consultative Organisation. He served as the Secretary General of the Indian Society of International Law (2012-2015), and was the Head of Legal & Treaties Division of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (2002-2012).
Prof. Singh has extensive experience in international arbitration, litigation, and negotiation. He was involved in many important international arbitration/litigations, including those before the ICJ, and has participated extensively in international conferences and negotiations as an Indian delegate.
Prof. Singh has published widely in areas including the law of the sea, international human rights law, international criminal law,dispute settlement, etc.
